By law the user must take care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label. This product must not be used for growth promotion in ruminants intended for human consumption.
DAIRY CATTLE: Provide 300mg monensin per animal per day when the supplement is fed at its recommended rate.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not treat cattle with products containing erythromycin, tiamulin or oleandomycin while using Rumenox Mineral Mix. Severe growth depression may occur.
CAUTION: Do not use on equines, alpacas, llamas or dogs as fatal toxicosis may result. Do not feed to Bobby calves. Ensure recommended doses are not exceeded. Care must be exercised when feeding concurrently with other antimicrobials. It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residues Limits of Agricultural Compound) Food Standards.

Milk: Nil
Sheep and Goats: Meat – Nil, Milk: Milk intended for human consumption must be discarded during treatment for not less than 35 days following the last treatment.
